BCRW Holiday Party

Please join the Barnard Center for Research on Women at a winter holiday party to celebrate and honor the incredible Senior Activist Fellows Katherine Acey and Amber Hollibaugh.

Katherine Acey is a social justice feminist activist whose work has crossed many movements, including LGBT, women’s, and racial justice movements. Her work as a Senior Activist Fellow has focused on aging, activism, and working across generations.

Amber Hollibaugh is an activist, artist, public intellectual and community organizer and former Executive Director of Queers for Economic Justice. As a Senior Activist Fellow, she founded the project Queer Survival Economies, which focuses on the intersections of queerness, sex work, poverty, policing, and survival.

Our celebration will also be an occasion to welcome the inaugural Social Justice Institute cohort Reina Gossett, Cara Page, Tarso Ramos, Andrea Ritchie, and Dean Spade. Please visit our website for more information on BCRW’s Social Justice Institute and its predecessors.

We are truly honored to support, learn from, and work alongside these generous and brilliant activists, thinkers, and leaders of the urgent movements of our time.

We hope you will join us to celebrate. Please RSVP to pphillips [at] barnard.edu.
