September 22, 2020, New York, NY — TIME<\/i> named Tourmaline<\/a> to the 2020 TIME100<\/a>, its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tourmaline<\/span><\/a> is an artist and filmmaker whose work includes <\/span>Salacia<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Mary of Ill Fame<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Atlantic is a Sea of Bones<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>The Personal Things<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Lost in the Music<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Happy Birthday, Marsha!<\/span><\/i> She is also an editor of <\/span>TRAP DOOR<\/span><\/i>, an anthology on trans cultural production published by the New Museum and MIT Press. Tourmaline has been working with BCRW since 2014, and is currently an Artist-in-Residence in the BCRW Social Justice Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n
