Co-Sponsors: #ShangeMagic Project and the Movement Lab at Barnard College

Join us for a multimedia experience of words, sounds and images from Ntozake Shange’s works and influences. Built by Barnard students, faculty and staff.  Conceived by Barnard students, faculty and staff, this immersive event explores the development of Shange as an interdisciplinary artist who herself sought immersive aesthetic experiences. Stop by any time from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

At the end of the day, we’ll discuss in our Shange Salon (Monday 2/10 6:30 p.m. in the Diana Center) this new way of thinking about the confluence of language and movement and its implications for Ntozake Shange’s work. Join us to read excerpts of Shange’s work and discuss together.

This event is co-sponsored by the #ShangeMagic project, the Movement Lab, and BCRW. For more information, email shangeworlds@gmail.com
