COVID Safety Guidelines

We are looking forward to hosting a combination of in-person and hybrid events this semester. Guests are asked to follow COVID safety guidelines to make our events safe and accessible to our communities. Please review the current Barnard College policies and procedures for public events. Email bcrw@barnard.edu with questions about safety or accessibility.

All attendees must comply with the following College policies and procedures:

  • All attendees must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster if eligible (or have already an approved Barnard or Columbia exemption).
  • Attendees must be vaccinated with a WHO-listed COVID-19 vaccine and have received a booster if eligible, or have an approved Barnard or Columbia vaccine exemption.
  • Attendees who do not have an active Barnard or Columbia ID may be required to show proof of vaccination upon request.
  • People who have tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event are not to come to campus until after Day 11 following their positive test; this includes people who are asymptomatic and have already completed 5 days of isolation.
  • People who are experiencing symptoms of COVD-19 are not to come to Barnard’s campus or participate in in-person events. Barnard and CU community members are to follow regular campus access policies that apply to symptoms of COVID-19.
  • People who are required to isolate or quarantine by their local health authority are not to come to Barnard’s campus.
  • People visiting Barnard’s campus must complete a health attestation the same day that they are accessing campus (Barnard and Columbia affiliates should use CoVerified and ReopenCU, respectively; non-affiliates should complete a health attestation).
  • Masks are required when indoors on Barnard’s Campus
