Troubling Care

S&F Online issue 21.2

Guest edited by Premilla Nadasen and Alex Pittman. Across essays, interviews, artistic contributions, and video conversations, contributors examine climate disaster, welfare rights organizing, migrant justice, family policing, domestic worker activism, and transnational solidarities. Together, they offer new ways of understanding how communities sustain life and build collective power in ways that exceed the state and the market.

The Barnard Center for Research on Women (BCRW) engages our communities through programming, projects, and publications that advance intersectional social justice feminist analyses and generate steps toward social transformation. BCRW is a center for research under the auspices of the AAUP Principles of Academic Freedom and, thus, nothing published on this website reflects the views of Barnard College as an institution.
