International Human Rights

This panel discussion featuring Virginia Magwaza-Setshedi and Helen Lieberman, and moderated by Yvette Christiansë, was held on February 9, 2010 in conjunction with the opening of the exhibit “Helen Suzman: Fighter for Human Rights” at Barnard College in New York.

Organized by the Barnard Center for Research on Women, this event was co-sponsored by the Dobkin Family Foundation, the Tolan Family Foundation, and Ralph and Emily Simon Foundation.

The Barnard Center for Research on Women (BCRW) engages our communities through programming, projects, and publications that advance intersectional social justice feminist analyses and generate steps toward social transformation. BCRW is a center for research under the auspices of the AAUP Principles of Academic Freedom and, thus, nothing published on this website reflects the views of Barnard College as an institution.
