Worlds of Shange Conference: Presentation to Ntozake Shange
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Africana Studies at Barnard College, the Africana Studies Program, the Consortium for Critical Interdisciplinary Studies, and the Barnard Center for Research on Women organized The Worlds of Shange Conference. For two days in February 2013, the conference brought together scholars and artists shaping scholarly and popular conversations about African American arts and letters and gender in the African Diaspora for a thorough examination of Ntozake Shange’s diverse body of work.
With gratitute, Tina Campt and Yvette Christiansë presented Ntozake Shange with tangible and intangible gifts.
